Low Theory is a Canadian-French multi-instrumentalist based in Granada, Spain.
They swirl together eclectic influences and heartful moments of nostalgia with care. The expansive soundscapes that result simultaneously call to feelings delicately held within and memories just beyond reach.
Low Theory is a project built around the use of music and sound to celebrate imperfection and connection with community. The name Low Theory refers to queer theory proposed by Jack Halberstam in The Queer Art of Failure, which suggests that creativity and creation can explode out of non-compliance with normative societal expectations.
